About Sports & Outdoor deals
Before you buy, check the size and fit, and try on running or hiking shoes if you can; whether sale items can be returned or exchanged; the specifications of outdoor gear, such as how waterproof it is and which season it suits; whether helmets and other safety gear meet safety standards; for races, the ballot arrangements, the refund and transfer rules and when the early-bird price ends; and for venues, the booking slots and cancellation rules.
Race entries and seasonal sales usually run to a deadline, so each sports offer shows its start and end dates where the source gives them, with the official source, the time we last verified it, the minimum spend and caps. When the source states only a price, we show that price and claim no saving. Missing details are marked as not stated, and offers come off the list when they end. Gym and fitness membership offers are in the Health & Wellness category.
Can I get a refund if I can't run after entering at the early-bird price?
Many races don't give refunds, though some let you transfer your place within a set period. Read the refund and transfer rules in the entry terms before you pay.
Can I exchange running shoes bought online if they don't fit?
It depends on the store's policy. Check whether online orders can be exchanged in store, how long you have, and whether sale items are excluded.
