Editorial policy

Readers should be able to see how an offer got onto the site and why it ranks where it does. This policy sets the rules we follow.

Where offers come from

We collect only through the access method approved for each source, and we respect each source's terms, robots rules and rate limits. Tips from the community are leads that we confirm with the merchant. They are never published as a source.

How we verify

Every published offer keeps a source link and stored evidence. A fact the source does not state, such as an end date or a cap, stays unknown and the offer goes to a person for review. We never fill gaps with guesses.

Offers that need a person

Offers with coupon codes, credit, insurance, investment or health claims need human approval before they are published. Offers we suspect are scams or cannot verify are blocked.

How the daily Top 3 is chosen

A fixed, versioned formula scores each eligible offer: financial benefit 30%, audience appeal 20%, redemption ease 15%, credibility 15%, urgency 10% and freshness 10%. An offer needs a credibility score of at least 80 and we show at most one offer per merchant and per category. If fewer than three offers qualify, we show fewer.

Use of AI

Software may draft extractions, summaries and translations. Those drafts are not published until they pass our fixed publication checks, and AI never decides a score or whether an offer is eligible.

Expiry and corrections

We check end dates every hour. Once an offer ends it is removed from every listing, search result and article, and its page is taken down (the address shows a "not found" page with current offers instead). When we get something wrong we correct the page and note the change.

Removal requests from merchants

If a merchant asks us to remove its offers, we remove them within 2 working days of receiving the request. Send the request through our Contact page and tell us which offers it covers.
