Until 31 December 2026, The Point members who show a staff card, student card or estate residents' card from Sha Tin, Tai Wai, Shek Mun, Ma On Shan, Science Park or University Station at a The Point counter or the Customer Service Centre get a free NEW TOWNER e-card in The Point App. Showing the e-card at more than 130 designated merchants in New Town Plaza and HomeSquare gives instant discounts, with restaurants offering up to 20% off. Spending HK$300 in one electronic transaction on the same day at Instant Earn Points merchants also gets 1 hour of free parking or minibus vouchers (2 for route 67A or 1 for 27A) plus a HK$10 dining voucher.
