ICBC UnionPay credit cards overseas: extra 5% cash rebate on HK$10,000 of foreign-currency spending a month (to 31 Dec)
From 1 October to 31 December 2026, ICBC (Asia) UnionPay credit cardholders who spend HK$10,000 or more (or the foreign-currency equivalent) in a month at physical stores outside Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland in foreign currency get an extra cash rebate of up to 5%, on top of the card's basic rebate of up to 2%. The extra rebate is capped at HK$500 a month and HK$1,500 for the whole promotion.

Exclusions
- The promotion has a total budget of HK$100,000, first come first served. Online, mobile payment (Apple Pay, Huawei Pay, ICBC Pay, UnionPay app), e-wallet and other listed transactions don't count. The rebate is credited in February 2027. ICBC (Asia)'s terms apply.
Limitations to note
- A minimum spend of HK$10,000 is required.
- The reward is capped at HK$1,500.
